At Petsasa, we work closely as a team to deliver excellent services to pet owners in Nairobi. As a delivery rider, your primary role will be to deliver orders directly to clients within Nairobi and sorrounding towns (Ruaka, Kikuyu, Syokima etc).

Qualifications:

  • A valid motorcycle driver’s license
  • Ability to use Google Maps
  • Knowledge of Nairobi and its environs and traffic patterns.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • Physical fitness (as the job may involve lifting packages).
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver packages from the delivery center. Verify the accuracy of the items received, checking for proper packaging and labeling.
  • Route Planning: Plan the most efficient delivery route based on the destination addresses and the order of deliveries.
  • Safe Driving: Operate company motorcycle in a safe and responsible manner. Adhere to traffic laws and regulations.
  • Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner. Answer questions & provide information about the delivery
  • Package Handling: Handle packages with care to prevent damage during transport.
  • Vehicle Care: Perform routine checks on the delivery motorcycle to ensure it is in good working condition and serviced in time.
  • Adherence to Company Policies: Follow company policies and procedures related to deliveries, including security protocols and safety guidelines.
  • Problem Solving: Handle unexpected situations or challenges that may arise during deliveries, such as difficult-to-find addresses.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations related to transportation.
