Job Overview: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of Petsasa Kenya Ltd. This role requires a seasoned professional with a passion for e-commerce management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve business goals and objectives.
    • Provide leadership in the formulation of policies and strategic initiatives.
  2. Operational Excellence:
    • Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
    • Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity.
  3. Team Management:
    • Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
    • Recruit, train, and develop top talent, ensuring a high-performance culture.
  4. Financial Management:
    • Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
    • Implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
  5. Sales and Marketing:
    • Drive e-commerce sales growth through effective marketing strategies and promotional activities.
    • Collaborate with the marketing team/agency to enhance the online presence and brand visibility.
  6. Customer Experience:
    • Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience.
    • Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
  7. Inventory Management:
    • Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and fulfillment processes.
    • Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
  8. Technology and Innovation:
    • Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
    • Identify innovative solutions to enhance the e-commerce platform.
  9. Analytics and Reporting:
    • Provide regular reports to senior management on business performance.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in e-commerce management or a related field.
  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
  • Understanding of e-commerce operations.
  • Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
