Job Overview: As the General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall operations and strategic direction of Petsasa Kenya Ltd. This role requires a seasoned professional with a passion for e-commerce management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute the company’s strategic plan to achieve business goals and objectives.
- Provide leadership in the formulation of policies and strategic initiatives.
- Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Implement and optimize operational processes to enhance productivity.
- Team Management:
- Lead and inspire a cross-functional team, fostering a collaborative and results-driven work environment.
- Recruit, train, and develop top talent, ensuring a high-performance culture.
- Financial Management:
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial plans.
- Implement cost-effective measures to maximize profitability.
- Sales and Marketing:
- Drive e-commerce sales growth through effective marketing strategies and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the marketing team/agency to enhance the online presence and brand visibility.
- Customer Experience:
- Champion a customer-centric approach, ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience.
- Analyze customer feedback and implement improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory planning, procurement, and fulfillment processes.
- Implement strategies to optimize inventory levels and minimize stockouts.
- Technology and Innovation:
- Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements.
- Identify innovative solutions to enhance the e-commerce platform.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Provide regular reports to senior management on business performance.
Qualifications:
- Experience in e-commerce management or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of building and leading high-performing teams.
- Understanding of e-commerce operations.
- Exceptional strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, management or a related field.
